If you love it when someone provides prompts that guide you through a process you would never think of on your own, join Holly Wren Spaulding for this generative workshop. The half-day class will focus on writing new work and demonstrate the genius of Brian Eno's "Oblique Strategies" as adapted for poets. We will be guided by a commitment to experimentation. We will plant seeds so that the rest of your summer results in even more poems. You will leave class with at least 2-3 new poems to work on independently. Consider enrolling with a writing buddy or accountability partner, who will help you stay true to your poems after class ends.
