Register Here The hammered dulcimer is one of the oldest instruments known to man, and playing it can be compared to opening a grand piano and hammering on the strings! Join professional folk musician, DeeDee Tibbits, to learn your way around this beautiful instrument and explore its unique and delightful sound. Students will learn a couple of old tunes, chording patterns, and ways to accompany the tunes so the group can play together. This workshop is open to all levels, from pure beginners to those more accomplished who want to refresh their base knowledge. If you are seeking an opportunity to learn in a supportive and friendly environment, this workshop is for you! Students are expected to bring their own instrument and to have it in tune in advance of the workshop.
