Register Here Join mountain dulcimer player, performer, instructor and songwriter, Jan Hammond in this day-long workshop for players of all levels. The morning session will be devoted to all aspects of rhythm and how you can grow rhythmically to enhance your dulcimer playing. In the afternoon, Jan will teach you how to weave simple chords with melodies, countermelodies, and bass runs to improve and enrich the ensemble experience. The day will end with a group strum involving all participants and will include hammered dulcimer and autoharp players. Please note that the Mountain Dulcimer Immersive Workshop, co-taught by Jan Hammond, Wanda Degen, and DeeDee Tibbits, will take place on Saturday, June 3.
