If you can read music and have 2-4 years of experience on the piano keyboard - even if that experience was in the past - you can take your playing to the next level with certified instructor and music educator Janice Derian in this 3-day workshop. You will learn new pieces - solo, duet, ensemble - and gain a basic understanding of music theory relative to the keyboard. Discover how to tease apart and approach practice in effective ways while acquiring new strategies for success. Gain an understanding of the physical aspects of playing while receiving individualized instruction and guidance. Each student will be provided with a full-sized Yamaha professional grade electronic keyboard with weighted keys for their own use during the workshop. In addition, a grand piano will be in the classroom for students to explore. Please join us!
