Study the anatomy of a stitch, then apply what you’ve learned to correct a variety of common knitting mistakes including twisted stitches, dropped stitches, split stitches, and holes. Learn to safely tear back a stitch, a row, or an acre of knitting without losing your cool. Gain confidence and enjoy your knitting even more! Faculty Sarah Peasley Instructor of Visual Arts, Interlochen College of Creative Arts Schedule Supplies Students please bring: 50 gms smooth, variegated, cotton, worsted-weight yarn (comparable to Sugar ‘n Cream or Peaches ‘n Cream) US 7 (4.5 mm) double-pointed needles, approximately 7" (18 cm) in length 1 yd smooth, contrasting-colored, scrap yarn Blunt darning needle G (4 mm) crochet hook Homework (Please complete before class) Cast on 15 stitches. Knit 4 rows (garter stitch). Do not bind off.
