We will begin by building custom-sized frame looms, which you will be able to keep and reuse for future projects. Then, using thicker yarns, roving and other materials with great texture, we will learn basic tapestry techniques to create a unique weaving for your wall. Here’s your opportunity to explore the many possibilities of woven wall art with experienced teacher and fiber artist, Nancy McRay. Fee also includes the warp and weft. Please bring the following to the workshop: A fork Ruler or measuring tape Fun stuff to weave into your piece with such as ribbon, sticks, herbs, etc.
