Barbara Hranilovich has been an artist since birth and made it formal with a B.F.A. in oil painting in 1976. She is an avid learner and dedicated teacher. During her 35-year career she has created artwork for children’s books and toys, advertising, editorial, and commercial interiors. Her client list includes the Wall Street Journal, Zonderkidz and Harcourt Brace Publishing, Hermann Miller, and Biggby Coffee. Her book, “E is for Entrepreneur," is an intimate look at the entrepreneurial lifestyle. She also wrote “Gouache, an Artist’s Handbook”. Barbara has juried numerous art shows and art fairs, lectured at art guilds and art associations, and taught at Lansing Community College and Michigan State University. She has won a myriad of fine art and illustration awards and her work has appeared in Communication Arts and the annual juried publication of The Society of Illustrators.
