A founding member of the Naumburg Award-winning Muir String Quartet, violinist Bayla Keyes performs throughout America as a recitalist, a soloist with orchestras and as a member of Boston Musica Viva, Sonos and the acclaimed piano trio, Triple Helix. With degrees from the Curtis Institute, Yale University and professional experience with Music from Marlboro, Bayla naturally extends her musical commitment to education. She is on the violin faculty at Boston University and her piano trio is in residence at Wellesley College, where their series of Beethoven trios garnered them the accolade of Musicians of the Year 2002 from the Boston Globe.
