Jay Mauchley

Soloist and chamber musician, Jay received his master and doctor of music degrees in piano performance with “High Distinction” from Indiana University, where he studied with Dr. Karen Shaw and Menahem Pressler.  He has played hundreds of recitals both as a soloist and as a collaborative pianist, and his students have won several piano competitions and have become successful piano teachers and performers.  In addition to performing, teaching, and touring, he has developed a collaborative piano program in which he works with accompanists and coaches chamber music on a regular basis.
