Marc "Lil' Rev" Revenson is a musician, educator, and storyteller of American roots music and culture with a particular love for all things ukulele and harmonica. His dual passions for music and education led him to earn a degree in Community Education from the University of Wisconsin, that he put to good use teaching music and music history to grade schoolers, college students and adult learners for many years before launching his own music career full time.
For the last 20 years, Lil' Rev has had a national presence as a performing and recording artist, with more than a dozen albums to his name. Called "great" by the legendary Pete Seeger, he is also a song writer, educator, the author of many instructional books and an endorsee of Kanile 'a Ukuleles. A seasoned multi-instrumentalist equally adept with a flat-pick guitar, old-time banjo, or blues mandolin, Lil' Rev can be found traveling across the country, teaching and performing at Ukulele Festivals.
