Shelby Lewis is a proud Interlochen Arts Academy alumna and Northern Michigan native. Since graduating from Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama, she's continued her diverse array of training in Los Angeles, New York and abroad -- including an avant-garde voice & choreographic theatre program in Paris. Shelby is a resident member of two professional theatre companies, Parallel 45 Theatre and the Interlochen Shakespeare Festival, and her voiceover work includes regional commercials and several audiobooks through Audible.com. Her favorite Shakespeare credits include Mendelssohn’s Midsummer in Concert with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Goneril in King Lear, and Rosalind in As You Like It. While pursuing a Master of Arts in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado, she most recently directed Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at the Old Town Playhouse in Traverse City and is preparing to direct their production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in March.
