Learn the basics of how to create artful, handmade books in this one-day workshop with visual artist and educator, Philip Hartigan. Participants will learn about handmade books and be inspired by the work of contemporary artists using handmade books as an art form. Participants will learn how to score and fold, cut, and sew paper to create beautiful notebooks, sketchbooks, albums, scrapbooks or journals of their own.
