Discussions regarding knitting needles, yarns, notions and gauge will introduce students to the world of knitting, while students learn the practice of both the English and Continental knitting styles (holding the yarn in either your right or left hand). Participants will also work both flat and in the round, learn to cast on, bind off, decrease, make buttonholes, pick up stitches, and weave in ends. Known for her patience and humor, the relevance and detail of her class notes, and her ability to instill confidence in her students, Sarah will provide all participants with a wide range of lasing skills.
