Saturday, June 14, 2014

Registration: $75

Registration is closed.

This one day course led by artist and blogger Philip Hartigan will show participants how to create their own blog using Blogger, Google's free blogging program. Participants will choose a design for their blog, will create a blog post that includes text, photos, video and sound, and will learn how to promote their blog via social media. Philip will also share with participants his ten tips for successful blogging. In no time you will be able to share your art with the world! And do not worry, if you use e-mail, you can start a blog. Or, if you know how to use a smartphone, you can definitely start a blog! Participants must have basic computer skills and may choose to work from their own laptop computer or work from a computer supplied for them during the workshop.

Please note that if you are bringing your own laptop, for optimum operation, participants must have Windows XP/7 or Mac OSX 10.3.9 or higher for their operating system and must have the latest version of Google Chrome, which will be used for our web browser.
