Choir Conductors Symposium

Program Overview

Refine and enhance conducting techniques while working with leading choir educators and conductors. Participants will attend lecture classes on repertoire, conducting fundamentals and rehearsal techniques.

Observation at rehearsals of the Interlochen World Youth Honors Choir and All-State Choir will provide ample opportunities for discussion and questions during panel sessions with the conductors. 

Interlochen Center for the Arts is an authorized provider of continuing education units (SB-CEUs) as approved by the Michigan State Board of Education.  Michigan educators participating in the Choir Conductors Symposium may be able to receive SB-CEUs.  If you are interested in earning SB-CEUs for attending the Choir Conductors Symposium, please see the program registration form for further details.

Cost: 

$375 Participant tuition fee
$575 Participant tuition fee with campus lodging and meals

Cancellation policy: 

Cancellations by the participant made before the program registration deadline are subject to a $75 non-refundable deposit.  No tuition refunds will be given after the original registration deadline of June 1, 2009.  A full tuition refund will be issued if the event is cancelled.
