Sunday, June 29, 2014

Registration Fee: $75

In this class, fiber artist Nancy McRay will share some of her trade secrets for dyeing yarn. Demonstrations will include kettle-dyeing, hand painting on yarn and bold variegation. Participants will have the chance to choose a dye method and dye a 100 gram skein, enough for a pair of socks or a small shawl.

All registrants will be provided with 2 skeins as a part of the workshop, however, students will also have the opportunity to purchase additional skeins for dyeing directly from the instructor, if they wish. This class is messy, so please wear old clothes and shoes. Please consult the supply list for more details.

All skill levels are welcome.
