Registration Fee: $65
From the Egyptians to the Native Americans, many cultures from around the world have used peyote stitch to create beautiful woven beadwork designs. In this workshop, participants will learn about this beautiful off-loom weaving technique from award-winning fiber artist and professional beadweaver, Jenny Schu. In 4 hours, participants will complete a 2 count peyote stitch beadwoven bracelet with a button-and-loop closure.
All registrants will be provided with a beading needle and the thread as a part of the workshop fee. Please see the supply list for a list of materials to bring to the workshop. The instructor will also have beads and materials available for purchase the day of the workshop, if students wish.
This class is intended for beginners, however, all skill levels are welcome.
