Lodging, Dining and Campus Information for Adult Participants

We are pleased to provide this resource guide to assist our adult arts program participants in advance of, or during your time on the campus of Interlochen Center for the Arts.

Interlochen College of Creative Arts will confirm your course registration(s) via email and will, in most cases, send one or more correspondence emails prior to the start of your course. It is important that you check your spam filter (or in Gmail, your "Promotions" folder) for emails from college@interlochen.org 

Interlochen Center for the Arts maintains a smoke-free, alcohol-free and weapon-free environment.

Lodging is not included in the registration fee for College of Creative Arts programs, however as a participant you may arrange on-campus accommodations and receive a discounted rate on your stay. Interlochen offers a variety of accommodations including hotel rooms, small lodges with kitchenettes and rustic cabins. To book lodging, please call 231.276.7570 and let them know you're an ICCA participant in order to receive your lodging discount. (Specific dates are ineligible for a discount. Please inquire with the Stone Hotel.)


College of Creative Arts participants are welcome to dine in Stone Cafeteria. Individual meal tickets can be purchased at the hotel front desk at any time. Breakfast options typically include pancakes, scrambled eggs, and cereal. Lunch and dinner choices include salad bars, soup, sandwiches, and several main course selections. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are offered at every meal. If you have questions about dining, please call 231.276.7570 or email hotel@interlochen.org.

Mallory-Towsley Center for Arts Leadership building also has a kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave for those who wish to bring their lunches. Complimentary coffee, tea, soda, water and light refreshments for participants are also available. 

The Melody Freeze, located near the Information Booth, provides a variety of hot and cold snacks and ice cream. Hours vary by season. A coffee tent located in the Osterlin Mall is open daily from early June through mid-August.

Parking and Class Check-In

Parking is permitted only in parking lots or other designated parking areas. Except for hotel guests, overnight parking is not permitted in lots A, B and O. 

Check-in for College of Creative Arts programs is at the Mallory-Towsley Center for Arts Leadership building (unless otherwise noted in individual class schedules), located at the north end of campus (map). Feel free to park in parking lots S, T or U for registration check-in or for any sessions held in the Mallory-Towsley building during your program.

Bonisteel Library

The Bonisteel Library houses both an academic library, located on the upper floor, and a music library, located on the lower level. The academic library maintains a dynamic collection of more than 28,000 items in arts and academic disciplines. The music library has over 100,000 items in its collection including scores, performance materials and sound recordings. Hours vary by season.

The Scholarshop carries gifts, clothing, food, printed sheet music, reeds and instrument accessories. Scholarshop purchases help fund the scholarship programs for Interlochen Arts Academy and Interlochen Arts Camp.
