Join mountain dulcimer performer/songwriter/recording artist and educator Tull Glazener in this afternoon workshop appropriate for players who are beyond beginner* to those at the level of intermediate or above. The first 90-minute session will focus on arranging - how to take standard music notation, in any key, and convert it to chord/melody style tab. No previous ability to read music is required. In the second session, Tull will guide and instruct participants as they learn some classical music, arranged for multi-part/ensemble playing. Different parts are suitable for a wide range of skill/experience levels. D-A-d tuning. Please bring your dulcimer! *Participants should have at least an elementary understanding of the mountain dulcimer and basic techniques/concepts.
