Sarah Peasley

Instructor of Visual Arts, Interlochen College of Creative Arts

Sarah Peasley is a nationally recognized knitting instructor and pattern writer whose passion is making knitting accessible to everyone. Since 2007, she has taught at the national STITCHES events across the county, and has also taught for The Knitting Guild Association, the Third Coast Fiber Arts Festival in Detroit, MI, the Knitter's Connection in Columbus, OH, and at numerous yarn shop retreats. Her skills in technical editing and pattern development can also be found in several knitting publications.

Well known for the patience and humor with which she teaches, for the relevance and detail of her class notes, and for her ability to instill confidence and provide her students with a wide range of lasting skills, Sarah has proudly watched her students transform from inexperienced, unsure knitters into self-confident knitwear designers.
