Program Highlights
August 17-22, 2010
Interlochen's new Dow Center for Visual Arts offers a wonderful ceramics studio to discover or re-discover the joys of working with clay. Using a variety of simple forming techniques, beginner and intermediate students alike will produce their own dinnerware set at this fast paced workshop.

A variety of media will be used to explore issues of representation including composition, perspective and style.
August 9-14, 2010
Many of the techniques of watercolor, oil painting or enameling and printmaking can be used with china paint on ceramic tile, or previously fired porcelain forms. Using water as a medium, each participant will produce tiles of their own design and also cooperate in the decoration of a collaborative mural.
